Young Driver First Time Car Insurance Discount Ideas

Young Driver First Time Car Insurance Discount Ideas.

For young drivers in particular males car insurance estimates tend to be very high. If you are aged 17, 18, 19, 20 or 21 years of age then no doubt the massive costs the motor insurance premium costs may put you off getting your own first car. Another option which many try is to insure the car in your parents name and then add yourself as a named driver. Unfortunately most insurance companies have systems to spot this and will load the premium anyway they call this method fronting or fronting a risk. The way they spot it is to ask how many cars are in the household, if there is more than one car in the home then the believe the young driver is the main user and will load the premium for fronting.

One way to try and save money is to insure the parents other car and try to get an introductory discount then use the no claim bonuses on the second car with the young driver named as the main user.

When getting car and motor insurance quotations it is always important to be honest and give accurate details. If not any claim you make could become invalid or fraudulent.
